The World Bank has approved $500 million in financing for Ghana's energy and digital transformation agenda. The support includes loans and credits with favorable terms.

Key projects to be funded:
- Solar energy installations (200 MW)
- Digital identification system expansion
- Rural broadband deployment
- Energy efficiency improvements
- Technical assistance and capacity building

The Energy Sector Reform Program component ($300 million) will:
- Improve electricity distribution efficiency
- Support renewable energy integration
- Reduce technical losses in transmission
- Enhance sector governance

The Digital Economy component ($200 million) will expand 4G coverage to 90% of the population.
