The Ghana Coding Academy has announced a nationwide expansion to provide free coding training to 10,000 youth across all 16 regions. The initiative aims to address the skills gap in Ghana's tech sector.
Training programs include:
- Web development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
- Mobile app development (Android, iOS)
- Data science and machine learning
- Cybersecurity basics
- Freelancing and entrepreneurship skills
The academy is partnering with global tech companies including Google, Microsoft, and Meta to provide industry-relevant curricula and certification. Graduates will be connected to job opportunities with both local and international companies.
